How much do website maintenance services cost in Florida?
Our plans run $350 per month for Essential, $650 for Managed and $1,250 for Premium. Across the Florida market you will see anything from $50 per month for an automated plugin updater with no human attached, up to $2,000 and beyond for agency retainers bundling significant content and campaign work. The useful question is not the number, it is what happens when something breaks and who picks up.
What is included in a WordPress maintenance plan?
Every plan includes core, plugin and theme updates, security scanning, backups, uptime monitoring, speed work, support and a written monthly report. Managed adds two SEO blog posts and up to five content updates a month, with requests acknowledged within one business day. Premium adds weekly updates, four blog posts, up to ten content updates, advanced security monitoring and requests acknowledged within four business hours. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Eastern; monitoring runs around the clock.
Do I really need a maintenance plan for my website?
If your site is brochure-only, never changes and generates no enquiries, probably not. If customers find you through it, then yes, because the failure modes are expensive and silent. WordPress sites are compromised overwhelmingly through known vulnerabilities in outdated plugins, and a site that has drifted for a year is slower, less visible in search and one bad update away from a bad week.
What happens if my website gets hacked while on a plan?
Daily malware scanning and plugin vulnerability checks make it rare, and when something does get through, monitoring usually shows us before a customer does. Malware cleanup and emergency recovery sit outside the monthly plan and are quoted separately, and we tell you the cost before any work starts. The daily offsite backups the plan pays for are what keep that job short.
Can you maintain a website you did not build?
Yes, and most of the sites we maintain were built by someone else. We start with a full health check and fix the urgent issues up front, before the plan settles into its normal rhythm. If we find something that makes the site genuinely unsafe to maintain as it stands, we will tell you plainly rather than take the monthly fee and hope.
Am I locked into a contract?
No long-term lock-in. Plans run month to month. If we are not worth the fee you should be able to stop, and knowing that keeps us honest.
Do you offer WordPress maintenance in Orlando, or is it all remote?
Both. Updates, monitoring and backups are done remotely for every client, which is how maintenance should be done. For businesses in Orlando, Lake Mary, Sanford, Winter Park, Kissimmee, Altamonte Springs and Oviedo we can also come on-site, which matters when the problem turns out to be the network, the hosting account or a point-of-sale system rather than the website itself.
Do you maintain websites elsewhere in Florida?
Yes. Businesses in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and the rest of Florida get the same three plans, delivered remotely with the same response commitments. Nothing about a maintenance plan needs us in the room.
How often should a WordPress site be updated?
Security fixes as soon as a vulnerability is published for something you run, and everything else at least monthly. Most sites we take over are months behind on at least one plugin. Weekly updates make sense for busy sites with many plugins, which is why Premium runs them weekly. Either way, every update should be tested on a copy first: the update that silently breaks your contact form costs more than the one you skipped.
Is website maintenance the same as hosting?
No. Hosting is the server your site lives on. Maintenance is the work of keeping the software on it updated, secure, backed up and fast. Many hosts sell managed WordPress that covers core updates and server backups but not plugins, testing, restores or fixing what breaks. We work with the hosting you already have, or recommend a move if it is holding the site back.
Do you maintain WooCommerce stores?
Yes. WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so stores are covered by the same plans. Updates are staged and checked before they reach your live store, with the checkout tested first, because a broken checkout costs sales the same day.
Do you only work with Orlando businesses?
We're based in Orlando and look after sites across Florida, from Seminole County to Tampa Bay and Clearwater. Maintenance is done remotely, so where you are in the state makes no difference to the service.
Do you maintain sites that are not WordPress?
We maintain WordPress, Shopify and custom platforms we have built. If you are on a closed website builder such as Wix or Squarespace there is genuinely less to maintain, and we will tell you if a plan would not earn its keep.
